Job hunting can be a long process and if you need a new position quickly, you need to know how to optimise your search. Here are some tips to help you get better at finding a new job:
- Look on major job websites. These will give you thousands of job listings to browse through and get an idea of what is out there. Once you know what you are aiming for, you can really speed up your search.
- List your CV on job websites. Recruiters will be able to see it and may head hunt you for positions.
- List your non negotiable points. Everyone has things they are unwilling to compromise on. It could be a pay cut, or it could be a job that is too similar to your last. Make this list and make sure you abide by it – don’t compromise and take a job just for the sake of it.
